A classic balmacaan featuring a canvas belt to give it a flattering, tailored look. The raincoat is made from 100% high density polyester that has been waterproofed on both sides. Even the thread has been waterproofed. This should come as no surprise as the company that designs and sells them is Fox Umbrellas, a company that has been in the business of keeping people dry in any downpour since 1868. In fact, the coats are made from the same material as their umbrellas are made of. So if you're looking to stay dry, you might also want to check out their umbrellas, which are handmade in the UK. To make sure you can easily bring the coat with you, even if you're not wearing them at that moment, they have been designed to pack into themselves, making them small easy to fit in bag or cases.
