Description
Swiss-made knife blocks available with or without knives included. They provide an elegant storage solution for up to 22 knives in a compact design, with some providing special compartment for a sharpening steel and a pair of scissors. Both available in wood or plastic, with a range of smaller and larger blocks.
Important: the pages we link to also contain blocks and knives we don't know the origin of (the Grand Maître selection). They might also be produced in free nations, but we currently don't know. Be sure to check if the product page mentions "Swiss made", before you buy anything.
Origin
The origin of the stainless steel and plastics is currently unknown. Since the volume needed is relatively small, we assume they are both sourced fr0m Europe as materials sourced there are often of superior quality and a shorter supply chain is always a good thing. Research also suggest that the steel mills that supply them are close to their manufacturing facilities.
The wood for the blocks and knife handles is sourced from Europe (the specific country is unknown)
The knives and blocks are manufactured in Switzerland.
