These scarfs are made from recycled cashmere that is created from worn out garments that would otherwise go to the landfill. But like virgin cashmere, it is an incredibly soft and luxurious fabric and is quite a bit more expensive than its alternatives; perfect if you're looking for something that does more than just keep you warm. In short, we would describe this scarf as "responsibly luxurious".
Colours: Black, Navy, Grey, Camel, Burgundy
The origin of the cashmere is currently unknown; however most cashmere in the world is produced in countries with a bad reputation when it comes to civil liberties. On the other hand, the majority of the cashmere in these scarves is recycled from other garments. So in that sense, they actually ensure less new cashmere is bought from these countries.
The origin of the Merino wool is currently unknown.
The scarf is knitted in Scotland, UK.
