Bridgedale is a brand with over a hundred years of experience in the production of high quality socks. This range is geared towards outdoor activities in cold climates, such as skiing. All of them contain at least 30% wool to keep your feet nice and toasty, with various other fibres making up the rest to enhance the socks' durability and comfort.
Their design possesses features such as as allowing moisture to escape to keep the feet fry, Thermofit so the sock maintains its shape even after multiple washes, a Y-heel to prevent slippage, a flat toe seam and much more. Origin
The origin of the merino wool is currently unknown. However, as Merino wool is mostly produced in free countries and as Bridgedale requires high animal welfare standards for their suppliers, it is fairly safe to assume it's harvested responsibly.
It's currently unknown where the wool, as well as any of the other materials, is spun into yarn.
The socks are knitted and finished in South Africa.
