The Aeropress is a worldwide phenomenon by now. Originally released in 2005 by Alan Adler, an American inventor, it has taken the world by storm with its ease of use and, of course, its delicious coffee. The press allows you to make 1 to 3 cups of coffee in under a minute, with the cleanup not taking much longer. Its rapid, total immersion brewing process creates a rich, smooth coffee without bitterness and remarkably low acidity. While its paper micro-filter ensures your coffee is grit-free. It can also brew espresso style coffee for use in lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso based drinks. It's perfect for home and office use, but because it's so lightweight and durable, it's also ideal for traveling, camping, backpacking, boating and more! Although if using the press primarlily on the go, we would recommend you take a look at the AeroPress Go.

Fun little anecdote: the popularity and quality of the Aeropress actually sparked Aeropress-competitions to pop up across the world, with even a World Championship taking place every year.

While they're not very open about it, the aeropress and all its materials are made in the USA. We only subtracted half as star because it is unclear whether that includes the raw materials from which the plastics are made.

Aeropress sells internationally on their online store:
