Description

A high quality, mechanical, ergonomic keyboard. Is has a sleek, futuristic design and it's packed with so many features it's hard to list them all. It's ergonomic designs includes collapsible wrist rests, adjustable thumb pads, a tilt point to create the perfect angle and has the keys arranged in linear columns to reduce finger travel and fatigue.

On top of that, it's highly customizable. You can easily change your key switches and key caps yourself, no soldering required. And if something were to break, there's no need to buy a whole new keyboard; they made sure that all components are easily accessible and they will ship you any spare parts you need. No glued shut cases here! Additionally, ZSA has made the firmware for their boards opensource and super easy to use, so you can even customize the layout and functions of your board in multiple layers.

Available options at checkout:

  • Color: black or white
  • 12 key switches (only 4 made in Germany)
  • Printed or blank key caps

If you're feeling a bit overwhelmed by all these options, they provide an easy "getting started" guide here. If you're looking for a similar keyboard with even more versatility, you might want to check out the ErgoDox EZ.

Note: while they make it very easy for you to customize the keyboard, even if you're not very tech-savvy, we recommend you take a little time to research the full functionality of the keyboards, so you know what you're buying, as we couldn't list all the features here.

Origin

The Cherry MX key switches are made in Germany, while the Kailh switches are made in China (PRC). So we recommend you choose a Cherry variant.

The key caps are made by Tai-Hao in Taiwan (ROC)

The origin of other components is currently unknown. Although, when reaching out to ZSA, they were very cooperative and explained to us how difficult it is for even them to know where exactly their smaller components are made.

The keyboards are manufactured in Taiwan (ROC) by Tibbo Technologies.

Shipping

They offer free international shipping straight from their website. They ship from Taiwan so, depending on your location, you might have to pay any applicable duties and taxes upon arrival.

They have an unconditional 30 day return policy. But as you have to pay for return shipping this is only a viable option if you live in or near Taiwan. In other cases we recommend you sell it on the secondhand market.

A big thank you goes out to Bioemerl for referring this product to us!
