Description
Use these cast iron dutch ovens to sear, sauté, bake, broil, braise, and fry in the oven, on the stove, on the grill, or over a campfire. Extremely versatile and available in variety of designs and sizes. Some of their dutch ovens even have lids that can double as a grill pan.
Lodge's cast iron is pre-seasoned with 100% natural vegetable oil and features unparalleled heat retention. All dutch ovens are made with nontoxic, PFOA & PTFE free materials.
While using cast iron is a fantastic way of cooking and baking, be aware that it does generally require a little know-how and maintenance. Be sure to research cast iron so you can get full use out of it.

Origin
Lodge uses pig iron, recycled steel and a small amount of other materials in their cast iron. The origin of any of these raw materials is unknown.
The dutch ovens are made in the USA. From melting the raw materials to packaging the product, everything happens in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.
Attention: Lodge also sells enameled cookware which are made in China (PRC) as well as accessories, most of which are not made in the USA. Fortunately the origin of each products is clearly stated on its products page.
