This combination maintains the benefits of wool (breathability, stretch, and insulation), while also gathering the benefits of nylon and elastic -(increased durability and material bounce-back).
The socks come in various designs as well as different heights (ankle, crew and boot)

Origin
According to their website, the socks are made 100% in the USA.
They specifically mention that they source their nylon and wool from within the USA. They don't mention their sub-components (e.g. raw materials to create nylon) or other manufacturing materials like the dyes to color the fabrics. However, even if these would not be domestically sourced, they only represent a tiny amount of the value of the socks.
